aAbout the Artist

         Bringing much emotion, energy, and uplifting feel to the canvas; Cory produces captivating and entertaining work. Combining both graceful and valiant brush strokes, his work leaves a lasting impression on the viewer. He aims to tell viewers a story, and evoke the viewer's emotion. He paints scenes of nature as his greatest ambition. Cory makes it a goal to never paint aiming for detail; instead he paints in search of more color. His main inspiration comes from color, nature, life, music, and the most minimal hints of beauty. He is also greatly inspired by the wonderful reactions he has witnessed from his clients. According to Cory, art is putting heart and soul into every piece that is sold.​

         Cory Chytla is from Wilmington, Delaware, and spends a great deal of time in Pennsylvania. He became fascinated with various forms of Art at a fairly young age; He found himself constantly sketching and creating throughout his childhood. He began his career by taking a Life-Drawing summer course at Moore College, while still in High School. Around this same time, he took weekly Oil Painting classes under Al Staszesky at the Center for Creative Arts. Cory has been painting  regularly since 2004. He paints every day, and loves sharing his vision. Cory paints at his home studio, as well as "en plein air."
